At Aevora Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our"), privacy is a fundamental human right. This Privacy Policy applies to the Aevora Labs website (aevoralabs.com) and our health intelligence product, Vitalia.

1. Information We Collect

Vitalia primarily uses on-device processing. We collect the following types of information when you use our services:

On-Device Vision Data: Images of nutrition labels and food items are processed locally on the device (iPhone Neural Engine / Android ML Kit). We do not upload these images to our servers.
Observability & Analytics: We use Sentry for anonymous crash reporting and PostHog for basic usage metrics (e.g., "Food Scanned" events). This helps us fix bugs and improve the experience.
Account Data: If you create an account via Firebase Authentication, we store your email address and user ID for authentication and sync purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use the data collected to:

Provide nutritional insights and tracking.
Sync your data across your personal devices via iCloud or Firebase.
Improve the accuracy of our ingredient classification models.
Send you product updates and important notifications (if you opt in).

3. Third-Party Services

Vitalia integrates with the USDA FoodData Central API and Google Gemini API for advanced insights. These services receive text-based queries (e.g., "Apple, raw") but do not receive any of your personal identifiable information or HealthKit data.

4. Data Retention

Data stored in SwiftData/iCloud is retained as long as you maintain your account. You can delete your data at any time directly through the application settings. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be removed within 30 days.

5. Cross-Product Data

Aevora Labs LLC operates multiple products (Vitalia, PayScope). We do not share user data between products. Your Vitalia health data is never accessible to PayScope, and vice versa. Each product operates with its own independent data store and authentication system.
